Kleinwalsertal   Winter holidays

A snow-covered winter landscape as far as the eye can see, surrounded by a fantastic mountain panorama...

This white dream becomes a reality with us every year.

Many kilometers of groomed winter hiking trails are waiting for you!

The nearest lift to the ski areas is just a 10-minute walk away, or you can take advantage of the convenient "Walserbus" service (bus stop 500m), which runs every 10 minutes during the season.

Access to one of the many cross-country ski trails is right at the house.

Skiservice

Ski service by Michl Leitner's Austrian Ski & Service Ranch available on-site, with overnight service.

Skiing

Cross-Country

Nestled between the ski mountains Kanzelwand, Ifen, Walmendingerhorn, and Heuberg, the Kleinwalsertal ski area stretches across the entire valley – only interrupted by the Breitachbrücke (3 minutes on foot) and the Schwarzwassertal (bus shuttle from the Parsenn mountain station to the Ifen valley station). Neighboring ski areas include the Söllereck halfway to Oberstdorf and the Nebelhorn in Oberstdorf itself.

In combination with Oberstdorf, this is the largest Austrian-German ski area.

  • 128 km of slopes in all difficulty levels in the Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf ski area

  • Crystal Ground Snowpark with Kids Ground Fun Park, Fellhornpark, and Pipeaid Halfpipe

Ski passes can be purchased directly through the Allgäu-Walser Pass app.

Whether you're into skating or classic cross-country skiing, the Kleinwalsertal offers both for your enjoyment.

The Kleinwalsertal has four cross-country trails, totaling 45 km in length, waiting for you.

The best part? The entrance to the Steinbock Trail connector is right at our doorstep!

Winter hiking

Over 50 km of trails in the Kleinwalsertal offer space for both relaxing and invigorating winter hiking. Most of the trails are located in the valley and side valleys up to 1,400 meters.

Would you like to go a little higher? Ideal tours include the route to the Schwarzwassertal (1,620 m), the Söllereck (1,358 m), and the circular hiking trail on the Gottesacker at 2,000 meters.

Or, let yourself be enchanted by a leisurely stroll through the icy world of the Breitach Gorge.

... and a good deal more

  •  toboggan runs, 150 and 1500 meters long – two with ascent assistance

  • Horse-drawn sleigh rides

  • 7 ski and snowboard schools

  • Guided tours: snowshoe hiking, ski tours, Nordic walking, telemark skiing

  • And much more...
