First things first

Breakfast

The breakfast room is on the ground floor. Our rich breakfast buffet is available from

8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Please help yourself!

Just one request: The buffet is not intended for making lunch packages.

Early breakfast is possible upon request.

Check-Out – Departure

Please vacate your room by 10:30 a.m. on your day of departure, so we can prepare it for the next guests. If room occupancy allows, we also offer late check-out on request. Your guest pass remains valid on the day of departure – enjoy your last vacation day and feel free to leave your luggage with us.

Data Protection Act

We gladly tell you, if and which data we have saved from you. Just aks us ! You find our declaration of data protection on our Homepage www.luggi-leitner.de or on the last page of this booklet.

Drinks

Juices, soft drinks, beer, wine, and spirits are available in the drink fridge next to the bar. Please help yourself.

Just record what you take in the book with your room number. Of course, you may also take drinks to your room.

We kindly ask you not to consume brought-in drinks in our common areas. Thank you.

Food Fridge

There is an additional fridge with separate boxes for each room – you may use this to store food for snacks or light evening meals. (Dishes, cutlery, and a microwave are in the small room next to the drink fridge.)

Information about events, closing days, opening hours, public facilities, etc., can be found in the Kleinwalsertal Holiday Guide Walser Summer or Winter World. These and other brochures are available in the entrance hall. We are also happy to assist personally.

Lounge Areas

Use our cozy "Stüble" lounge for a relaxed time in good company.

Snacks

Don't feel like going to a restaurant and just want a small bite? We offer a few snacks that we are happy to prepare for you depending on availability.

ATMs

The nearest ATM is in Mittelberg next to the hair salon "Harmonie", in Hirschegg at Raiffeisenbank, or at the banks in Riezlern.

Bergbahn Unlimited

We offer this in summer. You can use all cable cars in Kleinwalsertal and Oberstdorf free of charge.

Bus & Bus Stops

Bus stops in both directions are about a 5-minute walk away. The Walserbus runs every 20 minutes, and during peak times every 10 minutes. The exact schedule is available in the holiday guide or the Allgäu-Walser Pass App.

In the Kleinwalsertal it is free with your guest pass and to Oberstdorf, you receive a special fare.

Bike and Sports Equipment Rental

At our in-house sports shop, you can rent e-mountain bikes, hiking poles, or a child carrier – or buy small items.

Cross-Country Skiing

Over 50 km of trails are free with your guest pass! (Please show it if checked.)

Access to the Steinbock trail is directly at the house. The trail leads about 16 km to Baad and back. Beginners are advised to take the bus to Bödmen and start from there.

Doctor & Pharmacy

We will gladly tell you which doctor is on duty.

The nearest pharmacy is in Riezlern, opposite the church.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome! We charge € 10.00 per dog/day. You’ll receive a dog set upon arrival, including a door sign. We won’t enter your room unless we know the dog is out.

Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room during breakfast hours. If your dog doesn’t like being left alone, we can set a table for you in the side room.

Fire Safety

Please do not light fires or candles in your room. In case of fire, each room and hallway is equipped with smoke detectors.

Each floor has a fire extinguisher. Emergency exit lights are installed in the hallways.

Fire instructions are located on the back of your room door.

Have you already downloaded the Allgäu-Walser-Pass app? You can book many guest pass benefits digitally in advance.

Key & Front Door

Our house has a locking system. With the blue chip on your room key, you can also open the front door. The door is usually locked after 7:00 p.m.

Kid’s Playroom

On the ground floor next to the breakfast room is our playroom. Please make sure the play area is tidied up after use.

Mail/Postcards

We will happily take your mail to the post office. Please note that German stamps are not accepted.

Parking

There are sufficient parking spaces directly in front of the house. Please do not park in front of the garage. During snowfall, make sure parking areas are clear. Please leave your car keys with us if possible.

Restaurants

There are many nearby restaurants in all price and taste categories. We’ll gladly advise you. A binder with menus is in the lobby.

You’ll also find an overview in the “Culinary” section of the digital guest map.

Shopping

All towns in Kleinwalsertal have grocery, sports, fashion, and various other shops.

In Mittelberg you will find the Austrian supermarket "M-Preis". In Mittelberg-Bödmen there's the “Tante Emma” shop "s Josefle" – Edeka Willam.

Smoking

The entire house is non-smoking. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony or the terrace.

Sauna

On the first basement level, you’ll find our sauna and infrared cabin. Please reserve it – it will then be for your exclusive use.

Due to high energy costs, we charge €5.00 per use. Thank you for your understanding.

Ski & Boot Room

Please store your skis and ski/hiking boots in our ski storage room, located next to the entrance hall. In winter, it's accessible from outside.

Ski Service

"Chef" Michl Leitner offers overnight ski and snowboard servicing.

Skiing & Snowboarding

The Kleinwalsertal ski area stretches from the Walmendingerhorn cable car in Mittelberg via Hirschegg to Heuberg and Parsenn, continuing to Riezlern with Kanzelwand-Fellhorn, and into the Schwarzwassertal to the Ifen – only interrupted by the Breitach bridge (approx. 4 minutes’ walk) and the shuttle from Parsenn to Ifen.

Lift passes can be booked directly in the Allgäu-Walser-Pass App.

Nearest access: Zaferna lift (approx. 7 minutes’ walk) and Walmendingerhorn cable car (approx. 10 minutes’ walk).

Ski Tours

Our valley offers countless possibilities for ski touring enthusiasts. However, these should only be done with a certified ski guide. Please ask at the ski schools or contact us directly.

Ski & Snowboard Schools

Around 200 instructors with Austrian certification are available.

They offer all types of snow sports: skiing and snowboarding for all ages, cross-country, fun tools, snowshoe hikes, and freeride experiences.

Experienced instructors will make your winter vacation unforgettable.
